Dr. Wong has continued his education with additional conferences and courses covering the latest techniques in laser surgery, microsurgery, endoscopic hand surgery and noninvasive aesthetic (cosmetic) procedures. He also continues to remain actively involved with the family practice residents at Mercy Medical Center as an Assistant Clinical Instructor with the University of California-Davis Medical Center and supervises a monthly clinic for them.

Dr. Wong received the Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching while at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the following organizations:

Dr. Wong has been in private practice since 1992 when he first arrived in Redding. He performs hundreds of aesthetic and reconstructive operations each year.  He has authored a number of relevant articles, including a chapter for eMedicine.com on breast reduction surgery.

Dr. Wong resides in Redding with his wife, Shirley, and their three children. When time permits, he enjoys golfing, skiing and flying.
